The 4J class will be involved in Quadblogging. Quadblogging involves four schools in our quad. The schools in our quad are St. Francis Primary School in Cowley, Oxford, England, (we don't know the rest yet). Each school will post, then we will read each other's posts and comment. Then we will cycle through giving each school a turn to post and comment on the posts. We look forward to communicating with other students throughout the world! You can read more about it here: http://quadblogging.net/

What we studied in science so far is what ingredients are in a Snickers. We are learning about minerals and the rock cycle.
What are you guys working on in science so far?
So far in social studies have done latitude and longitude lines, and we are learning landforms.
What are you learning about in social studies?
We are doing ssrw in school. It is where you read, write or write a story. You can not draw or talk otherwise you will be in trouble. A lot of kids in our class like ssrw because our teacher counts our pages instead of counting how many minutes you read. We do it so we can get our pages in.
Do you guys do ssrw?
Does your teacher count your pages or your minutes that you read?

    1. Latitude is up and down lines. A easy way to remember is lat is like ladder.
Longitude lines are side way. A good way to remember is a long car ride.
We learned about the Olympics too in a Time for Kids.
What type of beans are you growing?
