The 4J class will be involved in Quadblogging. Quadblogging involves four schools in our quad. The schools in our quad are St. Francis Primary School in Cowley, Oxford, England, (we don't know the rest yet). Each school will post, then we will read each other's posts and comment. Then we will cycle through giving each school a turn to post and comment on the posts. We look forward to communicating with other students throughout the world! In math we have learned about line segment.
Some of us signed up for book club.We are in it.We like the book so far.The book is called Stone Fox.We are having fun in a 
lot of our thing, but I like science the best.We get to learn about Earth materials, and we get to see whats in a Snickers.We got to eat a Snickers too.  After lunch we go to recess, and we play football. Being lunch room worker is fun unless you want to miss recess,but we don't like to miss recess.In social studies we are learning about land forms, and we read Time for Kids and have fun during social studies.

    Sounds like you really get dug into your work and that you really enjoy it at your school.
    Do you have any other activities you enjoy?

    We enjoy our P.E now. A lot of the seniors are in seperate groups because we are training for athletics and the people that did not make it in do other activities.
    Right now we are also learning how to grow plants.

      We play P.E too.We just finished the subject flashlight tag.In reading we read a ton of books.We have done a play too.In art we have done a lot of projets.In music we play games and sing we play throw the alligator you have to guess what space or line it lands on in music

    At my school we have book clubs to I am reading The City Of Ember. I finished it. it was a good book. Some of my friends read Stone Fox for the book club too. Have you read the City Of Ember? -Tyler

    Wow, I bet you guys are having a great experience in class. You guys are lucky that you get to join book clubs. We can only join them in first grade here. Also, why are you aloud to have candy in class?

      Ethan, Stone Fox is a book about a boy named little Willy who's grandpa won't get out of bed or talk because he needs $500 to pay the taxes. Little Willy saw a sign that said if you win the dog race you get $500. It was a $50 fare. Little Willy spend all of his college money to enter the race. When he was leaving the mayor's office he saw Stone Fox. The native American had never lost a race before. On the day of the race the streets were crowded. Oh searchlight is little Willy's dog. We won't tell you the end of the story but you can buy it and read it.

      Ooooo! Sounds like a real cliff-hanger! I just might read it. I just finished the Mark of Athena, a book in the hero of Olympus series. I think you should read it. If you like action books, you'll love it!

    I like Snickers too. We do not have book clubs. What is line segment? We do not have lunch room workers, but we have fair sticks so people do the jobs. What do you mostly do in class? Do you have book fairs?
