The 4J class will be involved in Quadblogging. Quadblogging involves four schools in our quad. The schools in our quad are St. Francis Primary School in Cowley, Oxford, England, (we don't know the rest yet). Each school will post, then we will read each other's posts and comment. Then we will cycle through giving each school a turn to post and comment on the posts. We look forward to communicating with other students throughout the world! This is what we have studied this so far this year.
*In science we are learning about earth materials. We have done scratch test, QCE, and a rock cycle
*In social studies we are learning about landforms and we also do time for kids (TFK) .
*In math we have learned about polygons and we’re learning about whole numbers.
*In reading we have read Akiak, Grandfather’s Journey, Finding the Titanic, By the Shores of Silver Lake (Laura Ingalls Wilder book), Chester Cricket’s Pigeon Ride, and The Parcel Post Kid.
*In Language Arts (spelling, writing, and grammar)
we have learned about homophones, compound words, and compound sentences.
