The 4J class will be involved in Quadblogging. Quadblogging involves four schools in our quad. The schools in our quad are St. Francis Primary School in Cowley, Oxford, England, (we don't know the rest yet). Each school will post, then we will read each other's posts and comment. Then we will cycle through giving each school a turn to post and comment on the posts. We look forward to communicating with other students throughout the world! A Little About Kalona


Hello our names are Karsen and Myah.
We have a middle school and an Elementary school they are both in Kalona beside each other. 
We live in an Amish country, part of it is very old fashioned, we are different from the Amish because they ride in buggies and they don't have any electronics, we drive cars and not buggies we are very different from the Amish and are not Amish. 
We have a Yotty’s hardware store in Kalona,it has every material you need.
Yottys ice cream is the best homemade ice cream in the world, they have any kind of flavor or brand of ice cream you want.
We have  Myah`s favorite restaurant is Tuscan Moon it has burgers six inches long and six inches wide they are so juicy and good, They also have giant desserts they are very sweet.
We have Kalona Bars and they are ice cream and gram crackers with chocolate.

What kind of sports do you do, we do basketball, softball, baseball, soccer, hockey, flashlight tag, tennis, tag, jumprope,volleyball, dance, gymnastics, skiing, roller skating and ice skating and lots more.

    We have 25 people in our class. We have 4 huge playgrounds. How many playgrounds do you have?
    We read heaps of chapter books and they are: Harry Potter, Ronald Dahl books, Bear Grylls, Self Published books and much much more. The sports that we do is: Soccer,Hockey,Rugby,Cricket,Netball,Basketball, Vollyball,Unihoc,Tackle Rugby,Swimming but we don't do Rollerskating,Sking and Ice Skating. We don't have a cafeteria. What kind of food do you get in the cafeteria and what is Flashlight tag???? How many playgrounds do you have??
    Do you have sports competions? Do you guys sing? How many classrooms do you have? Have you guys ever done a play? Logans favourite food is Fish'n'chips and Sukhjinders favourite food is Subway.

    Our school is called Porritt Primary School. We like to play tag on the playground or around the whole school. We also like to play around the school and talk. We like to play different sports as well like Netball, Basket Ball, Soccer and Rugby What is you favourite type of icecream?Is it hard to ski, ice skate and roller skating? What is amish country? Is theicecream store connected to the hardware storeif it is why? Is tuscan moon close to your house? How often to you go to Tuscan Moon?

    Our school is pretty big. Its probably between medium and big. We have three middle syndicate classes and they are split up into year threes and fours. So we probably have one or two year four class.

    How big is your school is it big or small?

    At my other school we have two 4th grade classes.
    My sage scool is in Missouri.
    What is your favorite kind of icecream?
    My favorite kind is mint oreo with chocolate chip cookie dough.
