Quadblogging in 4J: May 2013

The 4J class will be involved in Quadblogging. Quadblogging involves four schools in our quad. The schools in our quad are St. Francis Primary School in Cowley, Oxford, England, (we don't know the rest yet). Each school will post, then we will read each other's posts and comment. Then we will cycle through giving each school a turn to post and comment on the posts. We look forward to communicating with other students throughout the world! We used Prezis in reading. We wrote biographies on them. On prezi.com you make a presentation online. We did ours on Teddy Roosevelt and Daniel Boone. When you get on prezi.com you choose a background. Then you type about your topic and add pictures of your topic. You can hide your pictures or make them turn. We hope you try this at school. It is a good way to present online.

For our first posts the students have chosen to write about a variety of things telling about school at Kalona Elementary. Kalona Elementary School is one of three elementary schools in the Mid-Prairie School District in Kalona, Iowa in the United States. We are one of two fourth grades in our building, and we have 21 students in our classroom. Our writing is not perfect. We may have misspelled a word or two here and there, and our sentence structure sometimes needs work. We look forward to reading your comments.
